LASER TREATMENT PROTOCOL

Q. Are there any side effects using LLLT?
A. Clients undergoing LLLT may experience a sensation of warmth, accompanied by a tingling feeling from the scalp to the neck during treatment. Since Images lasers do not have a thermal component, this feeling can be attributed to stimulation of microcirculation of blood supply.
Q. Does Laser Therapy Work For Everyone?
A. Laser treatments are good for the hair. It works on varying degrees on everyone. Studies show that LLLT will slow, arrest or reverse hair loss, to increasing the shine, body and elasticity of hair.
Q. Is Everyone a Candidate For LLLT?
A. No. Laser Therapy is recommended for men and women who are in the early stages of hair loss or who demonstrate sufficient hair follicles capable of being rehabilitated by the laser therapy program. If there is a history of baldness in your family, the sooner you start the better.
Q. Is Low Level Laser Therapy Painful?
A. No. Low level lasers are soft lasers, often referred to as cold lasers and do not have the thermal component to cut, burn or vaporize tissue.
Q. Should I use a special shampoo while utilizing LLLT?
A. We strongly recommend using a sulfate free shampoo as they are more gentle on the scalp, and help make scalp conditions more conducive to the use of LLLT. A supply of sulfate free shampoo is included in your LLLT program.
Q. Is it necessary to wear protective eyewear during laser treatment?
A. Yes. Making direct eye contact with a laser beam could result in eye damage.
Q. If I utilize LLLT more than the recommended protocol, will I see faster results?
A. We have found that using the above schedule seems to be the optimal amount of usage. Using more than the recommended treatment protocol has not been shown to accelerate benefits.
